Midibraille
About
Midibraille is a free midi file to ASCII braille file translator. Put simply, you have a midi file - this program will analyse it and create a .brf file at the other end. You can then use the .brf file to view as you typically might - with a braille display or by embossing.
Please note that currently this program will not connect with a braille display, nor will it emboss documents for you - this program is purely a translator at this stage.
Development
The project development is hosted by sourceforge, feel free to check out our project Midibraille there.
The project is in the very early development stages, however a development release is available.
Documentation
The full list of documentation is hosted on sourceforge. Check out the wiki page for more information.
Downloads
A sneak preview development release has been made available! This will demonstrate the basic functionality of this translator. Note that its features are very limited, but this project is in its infancy after all. Check out the wiki for documentation on the program's usage. Visit the project page for access to the download.
